CCTV footage showing the moment when two of the Mumbai gunmen were captured. The footage shows them being beaten by angry locals. One was killed the other captured, wounded but alive. Mohammad Ajmal Amir Qasab, 21, claimed the bloody three-day rampage was the work of just 10 Pakistani terrorists and an Indian gangster. He said the attacks were meticulously planned six months ago, and were intended to kill 5000 people indiscriminately. He revealed that the terrorists, who were highly trained and crept into the Indian city by boat, had planned to blow up the Taj Mahal hotel after executing British and US tourists and taking hostages. But the group underestimated the strength of the building's foundations. Their deadly attacks have left close to 200 confirmed dead, with the toll expected to rise significantly once the hotel has been fully searched. Yesterday, Qasab chillingly went through details of Wednesday night's killing spree, which ended when he was cornered by police. He pretended to be dead, which probably saved his life. It was only when he was being transferred to hospital by ambulance that his accompanying officer noticed he was still breathing. Once inside Nair Hospital, Qasab, who suffered only minor injuries, told medical staff: "I do not want to die. Please put me on saline."
